EXHIBITION:
'What would you like to be,
in Brixton?' features innovative work from eight
artists who explore the culturally diverse environment of
Brixton as an urban utopia on which they project their dreams
and aspirations.
Their work includes large scale sensory and interactive
installations, graffiti art, photo media, sculpture,
constructed building with Indian Rangoli.
Rangoli is an Indian art
form which uses traditional materials and pigments to create a
welcoming environment for visitors to the home.
Associated events and a summer education programme for
adults and children will take place at Brixton Art
Gallery.

Brook Cowley, Afra Dojaily, Runa Folkes, Yusu Kubo, Gerry
McAteer, Jason McNeish, Salome Russell, Derek Washington.
